St. Lawrence Seminary High School proudly presents Little Shop of Horrors; a musical comedy about an inadequate florist assistant who cultivates a man-eating plant. The show features 1960s-style rock and roll, doo-wop, and early Motown music. At its heart, Little Shop of Horrors shows a moral tragedy in which an insecure young man seeks to improve his life by relying on an evil power. It all seems to be going well until tragedy starts to influence everyone he connects with, including his love interest. The evil power (the plant) views humanity as pathetic as the humans pursue their own dreams, unable to see the dangers of their actions before it’s too late, eventually dooming the entire planet. The show closes with a final song of warning to be careful what you wish for and who you put your trust in! Tickets are $5 at the door. Call ahead ticket reservations are welcomed at (920) 753-7570.
