Tom began working at WMPX / WMRX in 1978, where he was able to fine tune his skills in a field that has seen many changes over the decades. One of those changes occurred in 1992 when WMPX / WMRX was purchased by Steel Broadcasting, Inc. Driven by a strong work ethic, you will often find Tom out and about supporting local businesses through advertisement of their product or services. James Minehan- Sales

Joining the staff of Steel Broadcasting in 2012, James brought to the station 38+ years of sales, marketing, and advertising experience, from all over the United States.  What continually motivates James's love of sales with Sunny 97.7 is the ability to work face to face with businesses within the communities of Mid-Michigan. James enjoys meeting and working with business owners to offer them quality advertising specific to each of their needs.

Brad Morgan- Program Director / Morning Host

Brad has been in radio almost as long as he has been alive. It sure seems that way. :)
Brad joined the Steel Broadcasting staff in 2010, and became our Program Director in 2015.
Brad and his wife are active in their church and enjoy traveling. Join Brad mornings Monday-Friday at 6am for the morning show, and the Monday morning coffee break!

Dorothy Risch - Office Manager - Traffic Director

Dorothy joined the Steel Broadcasting team in 2020 as the Office Manager and Traffic Director. She manages accounts receivable, all advertising placement on air, promotions for the station, and websites. Dorothy brings more than ten years of customer service and accounting to the station as well business and management degrees. 

Dorothy loves going to music events, wine tasting, and spending time with friends and family.

Todd Allen- Afternoon Host

When I was about 10 years old, I loved listening to the radio.  It wasn't just the music I loved, but also the DJs.  From that point on, I decided I wanted to work on the radio when I grew up.  Turns out, I haven't really grown up, but I DID achieve my goal! 

I've got a wonderful wife and two awesome kids.  We LOVE spending time outdoors.  We actually have a family goal to visit ALL of the Michigan State Parks and Recreation Areas before my daughter graduates high school.  There are just over 100 total parks.  As of this writing, we've knocked out 60+.  Do you think we'll make it?  

Music runs through my veins.  I love seeing live music, talking about music, listening to music, and playing music - like Mid-Michigan's Greatest Hits on Sunny 97-7!
